AIR SOURCE HEAT PUMPS
An Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) is a system which transfers heat from the outside to the inside of a building, or vice versa. Under the principles of vapor compression refrigeration, an Air Source Heat Pump uses a refrigerant system involving a compressor and a condenser to absorb heat at once place and release it at another.
With Air Source Heat Pumps, you can expect to see lower bills, contribute lower carbon emissions and there is minimal maintenance required. The government also has a Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) which could support the financials of installing Air Source Heat Pumps.
